My name is Brandon English, and I am a Queer Filipinx-American Multidisciplinary Artist located in Los Angeles, CA. I explore my artistry through movement, spirituality, and deep empathy. I am an actor, director, producer, and writer - but I simply identify as an Artista (Tagalog for "Artist"). I pull inspiration from my Filipino roots and my Queer identity. Last summer I produced Borracho: Spanish for Drunken Bum at the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2019, where it won an award and had a complete sold out run. I was nominated for Broadway World Awards "Best Featured Actor in a Musical" for my work in Comfort Women: A New Musical. Most recently I starred in "Consent" directed by Andrew Cervantes, and the short film won the Grand Jury Award at Outfest. Furthermore, my film "Bakla" is currently making the Festival Film Circuit, which includes: NewFilmmakers Los Angeles, Vancouver Queer Film Festival, CinemQ, and many more!
